CM Revanth Reddy Offers Prayers at Khairatabad Ganesh: 71st Year Celebrations with 69-Foot Idol | In News Live

The Khairatabad Ganesh festival in Hyderabad marked its 71st year of celebrations with grandeur and devotion. The iconic festival, which began decades ago with just a one-foot idol, has now grown into a massive tradition featuring a towering 69-foot Ganesh idol.

In a recent video on IN News Live, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was seen offering prayers at the Khairatabad Ganesh pandal. He praised the festival committee for organizing the celebrations successfully for over seven decades and called Hyderabad a symbol of religious harmony.

This year also marks a historic first, as the Telangana government has extended free electricity to Ganesh pandals across the state, ensuring that devotees and organizers could celebrate without power-related difficulties.

According to reports, CM Revanth Reddy encouraged devotees to continue celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in a spirit of unity and peace, maintaining Hyderabad’s image as a city of inclusivity. The event witnessed huge participation, with thousands of devotees gathering to seek blessings from the monumental idol.
